Leaning Fence Repaired in Woodbridge
A backyard wood privacy fence in Woodbridge with a whole section leaning badly into the garden. We took the leaning section down and rebuilt it straight and solid, working around the cedars and evergreens along the fence line.
The fence: a whole section leaning over
This wood privacy fence runs along the back of a Woodbridge yard, behind a row of cedars and other evergreens. One full section had started to lean badly into the garden, pushing against the trees, with the posts no longer holding it upright. A leaning fence only gets worse with wind and winter frost, and eventually it falls.
Taking the section apart
Our crew took the leaning section down board by board, as the process photo shows, carefully working around the cedars and shrubs so the landscaping was not damaged.
Rebuilding it straight
We then rebuilt the section straight and plumb, tied it back into the existing fence on both sides and finished it with a cap along the top so it lines up with the rest of the fence.
The result
A straight, solid back fence again, with the yard private and secure and the cedars standing free in front of it.
